The main aim of our work is standardization of active substances in the tablet mass, namely thiotriazolin and carbamazepine (1.5:1), in stage control of the production of karbatril tablets. <...> Purpose of the study: since the physicochemical techniques are being used increasingly in the analysis of dosage form, we paid our attention to a method of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), which can simultaneously identify and quantify the active agent in the dosage form. <...> Special attention is paid to stage control of tableting in terms of production; one of the parameters of this control is potency assay of the tablet mass.
