The main aim of our work is standardization of active substances in the tablet mass, namely thiotriazolin and carbamazepine (1.5:1), in stage control of the production of karbatril tablets. <...> Purpose of the study: since the physicochemical techniques are being used increasingly in the analysis of dosage form, we paid our attention to a method of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), which can simultaneously identify and quantify the active agent in the dosage form. <...> Special attention is paid to stage control of tableting in terms of production; one of the parameters of this control is potency assay of the tablet mass. Drawing special attention to the physical, chemical and pharmaco-technological properties of ecpiients, which are part of the tablet mass, we supposed (and later proved) that they do not aff ect the test results. <...> In previous studies, we have developed HPLC method which allows simultaneous identifying and quantifying carbamazepine and thiotriazolin. <...> In the process we adapted karbatril tablet mass for standardization. <...> Materials and methods: in the course of our study we carried out the analysis of previously prepared 6 series of tablet masses. <...> During analysis the chromatography of the spray material and standard spray material was carried out at least three times; also we calculated the average peak area of the spray material and the standard spray material and analyzed data with the use of formulas. <...> Results: as a result we determined the content of the active ingredients in the tablet mass, as follows: carbamazepine – from 150.69 to 152.72, thiotriazolin – from 100.17 to 101.83, which meet the requirements of State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine. <...> Finding: summing up all the above it can be concluded that during the study the modern method of standardization of the active ingredients in the karbatril tablet mass via HPLC was developed. <...> This method of standardization of the active ingredients is reliable, objective, accurate, sensitive and in the future we plan to use it in batch production of karbatril tablets. <...> Keywords: karbatril, carbamazepine, thiotriazolin, tablet mass, standardization, epilepsy. ______________________ Резюме __________________________________________________________________________ Введение: статья рассказывает о стандартизации действующих веществ в таблеточной массе, а именно карбамазепина и тиотриазолина (1,5:1), во время постадийного контроля производства таблеток карбатрил. «Рецепт», 2017, том 20 <...>
